The history of ALPHA.

Driven by a singular ambition to cultivate top-tier blooms at accessible prices for the burgeoning market, the founder embarked on a quest to turn his dream into reality.

Mr. Kumar's contributions extend to the marketing of advanced polyfilms from Plastika Kritis of Greece and the introduction of Royal VanZanten’s Lillium bulbs to markets in India, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East.

Together with Mr. Sridhar, Mr. Kumar has now embarked on a new venture with Athena Farms and Alpha Flowers. Our mission is to cultivate a diverse array of flowers and plants while offering comprehensive landscape solutions. Alpha Flowers stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in floriculture.

Mr. Kumar has collaborated with renowned Dutch consultants to hone his expertise in the propagation of roses and chrysanthemums. His leadership was pivotal in securing the first-ever license for carnation plant propagation in India. His extensive network includes collaborations with leading breeders and research institutes globally, such as Royal VanZanten of Holland, Selecta of Spain, Barata and La Velleta of Italy, Floritech of Holland, the Flower Research Institute of South Korea in Busan, and Sheoren Orchids of Thailand.
